YPSILANTI – Candice Crutcher, EMU’s student body president, passed an executive order Tuesday calling for the university to cancel classes when temperatures drop below zero.
On January 23, classes were held even though around 800 public and private schools in the area closed or delayed . . . As a result, many faculty and students were involved in accidents on and off campus, some of whom may pursue legal actions.– Crutcher in an executive order.
The action came as temperatures are expected to become life-threatening in the upcoming days. The university announced shortly after that all classes scheduled for Wednesday would be cancelled.
