‘Extreme Weather’ executive order passed by student body president

YPSILANTI – Candice Crutcher, EMU’s student body president, passed an executive order Tuesday calling for the university to cancel classes when temperatures drop below zero.

On January 23, classes were held even though around 800 public and private schools in the area closed or delayed . . . As a result, many faculty and students were involved in accidents on and off campus, some of whom may pursue legal actions.
